The Ministry of Health has opened up Registrations of Interest for the second round of the Pathway to Smokefree New Zealand 2025 Innovation Fund.
This is the second ROI for this funding round with 13 projects granted funding in June 2013 including the WERO Stop Smoking Competition originally funded under the Turanga (for more information on the projects funded in this round (see http://www.turanga.org.nz/node/166)
MoH is seeking registrations from NGO's and community organisations wanting to access the fund with the purpose being to support innovative approaches to reduce smoking prevalence among Maori, Pacific, pregnant women an young people. Projects should focus on making meaningful progress to the Smokefree NZ 2025 goal.
Funding of up to $1 million is available to distribute for projects starting from 1 July 2014.
